Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring my own bike?
YES.
Are all makes and models welcome?
YES.
Why should I take a guided tour?
A guided tour is the way to go for 0% stress and 100% fun. You don't have to
worry about where you are going, where you will be staying, what to do if your
bike breaks down, or how to pack everything that you want to take into two small
saddle bags. All you have to do is get on your bike and ride and we'll handle the
rest.
What isn't included in my tour price?
The tour price does not include lunches (except a couple of picnics), alcoholic
beverages, recreational facility charges other than specified in the tour
description, or anything else not listed in the tour description.
Do I have to have a license?
YES, you need to have a valid motorcycle operator's license.
How much riding experience do I need?
You need to have enough riding experience to confidently handle a 1450 cc
motorcycle on winding mountain roads, have full confidence in cornering, and
high and low speed maneuvering. The roads we will be riding are quite
challenging and exciting.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring leathers, i.e. - chaps, jacket, gloves, a sturdy pair of boots, warm
layers, extra socks, and any riding gear that you may have. Helmets are provided
with your bike and rain gear is available for a small fee. Don't forget your camera!
Do I have to stay with the group?
Maps and travel itinerary will be provided each day and riders are welcome to stay
with the guide or ride at their own pace. Everyone is expected to be at our
evening destination on time for dinner so that everyone can be fed and
accounted for.
