About Ol' Koots Motor Scoots

Ol' Koots Motor Scoots is a unique and exciting tour company catering to every type of motorcycle enthusiast. Our mission is to enable you to explore the beautiful winding mountain highways of British Columbia, Alberta, Washington, Idaho, and Montana in the summer.  In the winter we offer tours in the sunny southern states. Whether you want to ride one of our Harleys or join us for a tour on your own motorcycle, we are ready to provide you with an amazing, one of a kind experience! You can also rent one of our Harley Davidsons and ride off into the sunrise on your own schedule.

About Lou

Louisa Ewert, otherwise known as Lou, is a young woman native to BC having grown up in Dawson Creek, and after roaming around a bit decided to settle in Nelson. Lou grew up on an organic farm in northern B.C. and had no exposure to motorcycles as a child, horse back was the recreational mode of transport in her childhood ! As a teenager Lou became fascinated with motorcycles and eventually in her early 20's dated a guy who owned a fat boy. Lou rode on the back for a summer and thoroughly enjoyed herself but realized she definitely wanted to be behind the bars. Luckily for Lou she was able to ride into the next summer on a custom built shovel head ! From that point on living in various places and doing various jobs Lou has continued to ride, and to try to find a way to get paid for doing it ! Thus the birth of Ol' Koots Motor Scoots!
